The Doescher Family

Karen-Anne Doescher has been an IT professional for over twenty five years. She had been a computer programmer, trainer and IT Manager, and about five years ago she stopped working full-time to take care of her children Erin, 10 and Adam 8.

Recently I saw an ad for Bits Bytes & Bots license and instantly knew this type of business would be perfect for me. I love working with children and I am a techie at heart. I am currently my daughter’s Girl Scout leader, member of my childrens’ PTA and volunteer at all their sporting programs, so I am constantly with other families of elementary and middle school children. I have always wanted to start my own business, but never found anything that really excited me until I found Bits Bytes & Bots.

I am truly excited about being able to offer these classes to children in our area. The capital region of New York is labeled Tech Valley, where numerous technology based businesses are located and is home to 16 colleges, so there is an abundance of highly educated families looking for fun and challenging programs for their children.
